As a way of saying a big "thank you" to our customers, Gnu-Co hosts unique and entertaining Customer Appreciation Events from time to time. An example are the Gnu-Co Race Daze, one of our most popular 3 day events!

The Gnu-Co Race Daze Invitation read: Fire up your engines!  It’s time to join your friends and colleagues to see who will be the next Jeff Gordon! Gnu-Co., Inc. has once again rented out track time.  This time, we will be driving on the Darlington Raceway!

Overview of the Event: After being picked up in a limo, Gnu-Co clients stayed at a nice hotel in Florence, South Carolina. The hotel offers breakfast in the mornings and coffee and juice service in the lobby all throughout the day.  Several good restaurants are nearby.

The 1st day, all participants will arrive at the Raceway early for a short Classroom instruction session.  The class will give you an introduction to driving a real 700 HP NASCAR racecar, tips for driving and rules of the track.  We will then be paired with an instructor, and you will drive the track a few laps to get comfortable with the car.  After that, you drive by yourself (sorry...max. speed is only 145 MPH)!!!

On the 2nd day, we met at the track for another day of fun.  This time, the drivers were grouped into speed categories, so that the persons with closer times will be out on the track together.  We drove with longer heats, faster times, and more excitement!
