About our Name:
Yes...Gnu-Co
is a unique, yet unusual name
for an multi-national lumber
trading company. Back in 1997
when the company was being formed,
the company founders, Blair and Carolyn Gaynor,
could not decide on the perfect name
for their new company. Before the
company was officially launched,
it was simply referred to as
the
"new company". The
name "new co" rolled
easily off the tongue, so the
spelling was modified to add
a twist and Gnu-Co was born!
